  1. It\u2019s not about doing many things. It’s about doing a few things really well and deeply right<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If confidence is an issue for you, get a coach<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Stand up in front of people and speak even when you\u2019re scared, so that you get used to stepping out of your comfort zone<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Blow your own trumpet – it\u2019s OK if it’s a healthy trumpet<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Ask to talk to people who inspire you and be respectful of their time<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Don’t be put off when people say, \u201cNo\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Never attend a meeting unless you plan to ask a question<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Wear something stylish and memorable<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Be kind to yourself and be your best friend<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
