Is communicating by video conference becoming more common in your business? Even if it’s not yet, it probably will be soon.
Not long ago, you would have had to go to a specially-equipped room in your company to join a video conference. Now, you can connect with clients and colleagues around the world from anywhere, just using your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
It’s so convenient.
And yet, if you’re like many of my Japanese clients, you’re somewhat nervous about speaking up on video conference calls – especially in English.
You risk communicating poorly and giving a bad impression.
You may also need to speak on a video conference, but not be able to see the people you’re speaking to, such as if you’re delivering a regional update or company training to overseas colleagues.
In Episode 42 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you’ll hear
- My top 3 tips for speaking clearly and confidently on video conference calls
- 3 ways to practice what you want to say on your next call
- How to build your communication skills and confidence consistently – even with a busy schedule
Enjoy!
