I’m really happy to see more people speaking positively about working from home now. Have you noticed that?

Yes, there is much horribleness related to the coronavirus situation, but I’m convinced that we’ll see lots of positives too once we return to the new normal that we’ll discover on the other side of the current turmoil.

People are already talking about the favorable impact on the environment from less traffic.

Companies that had been reluctant to allow work flexibility are now supporting virtual teamwork.

Japanese businessmen and women are becoming more aware of the possibilities and benefits of online communication and learning.

And, in some cases, people are spending more quality time with their families.

But, here’s a problem. If you’re one of those women in business who’s now working from home and doing her best to keep up with all the changes in your industry or company and maybe even also looking after children or elderly relatives, you may be feeling quite stressed and exhausted – probably putting others first and not devoting time to yourself.

And this will continue to get worse if you don’t pay attention to it.

I recently noticed that I was starting to neglect the good self-care habits that I’d created over recent years as I was focusing on how to make fast changes in my business to support women who need training, coaching, and encouragement now, more than ever.

I realized that I couldn’t tell women the importance of looking after themselves if I wasn’t doing it myself!

So I’ve turned April into a big self-care experiment.

In Episode 65 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you’ll hear:

  • How self-care is important for your success and impacts those around you
  • 6 key self-care habits that I’d started to neglect
  • How you can take advantage of my self-care experiment this month

Enjoy!
