Do you use weak words in meetings?
Do you know what weak words are?
I’ve noticed that many of my Japanese corporate clients and online students use weak words.
The good news is that it’s a habit that you can fix quickly when you’re aware of it.
The bad news is that when you don’t fix it, you risk:
- Losing the trust of your clients or colleagues
- Causing miscommunication
- Wasting time
- Feeling bad
So it’s probably obvious to you that you want to avoid weak words, right?
But if you’re like many Japanese business professionals, you may not even know what weak words are.
Well, in Episode 73 of the Sasuga! Podcast, I tell you what they are and how you can stop using them.
You can do this for both in person and online meetings and presentations, so that you look and sound confident and get your message across clearly, concisely, and convincingly.
In Episode 73 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you’ll also hear:
- Why your clients and colleagues don’t take you seriously when you use weak words
- How a Japanese woman learned to change her word choice to stop colleagues from distracting her with non-essential tasks (and you can too)
- How to sound confident and still be humble at the same time
Enjoy!
