– a conversation with Akina Shu

When Akina was in her late 20s, her friends were out enjoying themselves while she was going through major surgery twice, struggling to commute in a wheelchair, and witnessing the death of her mother from cancer.

If that wasn’t enough, she then experienced the worry of her father’s deep depression after the loss of his wife and his regular messages saying he no longer wanted to live.

But then, against the advice of many of her friends and coworkers, Akina took a bold step that completely changed her life and lifted her father out of depression.

In my conversation with Akina Shu in Episode 115 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you’ll hear

  • How Akina went from hating her destiny and her 20-centimeter scar to living her ideal life and seeing her wound as proof of what she had overcome
  • How there’s no failure in life – it’s all experiences, and they can make funny stories too
  • Akina’s big dream and how you can easily be a part of it and help her to achieve it!

Enjoy!
