I remember years ago a friend told me he’d visited an art museum at the weekend.
For some reason, that really hit me.
It was at a time when I was working 7 days a week and had a young daughter at home. It was so hard to imagine doing something relaxing and fun just for myself – like going to an art museum!
There was always sooooooo much to do!
Taking time off seemed like a waste of time or lazy.
Even when I started to take a little bit of time off, I would often justify myself by saying to people things like, “Well, I worked really hard last week.”
It was like I felt guilty about taking time off.
And now I’m doing what I once considered “The Unthinkable.”
