a conversation with Miho Kauanoe Shinohara

How often do you find yourself hesitating because you’re in a new situation?

What if you fail?

What will people think of you?

When Miho Shinohara was suddenly asked to MC in front of hundreds of people in English about a topic she was unfamiliar with…

… of course she wasn’t confident.

She was nervous.

She’d never done anything like that before.

But did that lack of confidence and the nerves stop her?

No.

She admitted to the audience that she didn’t know anything about the topic until the night before.

She decided to enjoy the experience.

And then, guess what?

She realized that the audience enjoyed it too!

This is just a snippet of one of the stories that special guest Miho Kauanoe Shinohara shares on Episode 90 of the Sasuga! Podcast. You’ll also hear

  • How Miho changed her word of the year from Progress to Patience due to the pandemic (what adjustments have you made?)
  • How she originally thought hula was a “grandma dance” – and all that changed
  • Miho’s top tip for people who are busy with work – especially during coronavirus – and forget to do what they’re interested in or take care of themselves

Enjoy!
