Are you doing anything to celebrate International Women’s Day or Month?

I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing sooooooo many amazing women on The Sasuga! Podcast over the years, so I wanted to share with you some of their words of wisdom that you might have missed or forgotten.

And since Catherine O’Connell has just celebrated 3 years of her fabulous Lawyer On Air Podcast, who better to start with?

In Episode 180 of The Sasuga! Podcast, Catherine shared these nine nuggets and more to help you become more memorable and inspiring:

  1. It’s not about doing many things. It’s about doing a few things really well and deeply right
  2. If confidence is an issue for you, get a coach
  3. Stand up in front of people and speak even when you’re scared, so that you get used to stepping out of your comfort zone
  4. Blow your own trumpet – it’s OK if it’s a healthy trumpet
  5. Ask to talk to people who inspire you and be respectful of their time
  6. Don’t be put off when people say, “No”
  7. Never attend a meeting unless you plan to ask a question
  8. Wear something stylish and memorable
  9. Be kind to yourself and be your best friend
