– a conversation with Noriko Makino Villanti

During her two decades in the corporate world, Noriko always worked hard, but it was only years later that she realized she didn’t have a goal for herself.

She was always running, but didn’t really know where she was going.

In a competitive, male-dominated work environment, Noriko lost her confidence. She was desperate for a role model or just someone she could feel comfortable talking to.

After becoming a mother of three, including a daughter with a disability, she didn’t know how to balance work and family life.

She struggled to prioritize her children as well as her work projects, and she put herself last.

Noriko felt empty.

In Episode 123 of the Sasuga! Podcast, you’ll hear my conversation with International Executive Coach for women Noriko Makino Villanti, including

  • Why it’s especially difficult in Japanese society to recognize your own strengths and practical steps for you to start to identify them
  • The simple, yet powerful question to bring you clarity on your life goal
  • Why working mothers have outstanding leadership skills that they may not even be aware of

Enjoy!
