At the beginning of the year, I set several business goals and personal goals.
One of my personal goals was to do a chinup by the end of the year.
I started training in the gym, hanging from a bar, using resistance bands to give me a lift, and practicing seated chinups at the squat rack.
Then, in the summer, I was getting out of an Uber during a business trip to California and I somehow pushed my shoulder against the back seat and felt my muscles tearing inside.
Yikes. That wasn’t going to help my chinup progress.
As the end of December fast approaches, I’m still visiting my chiropractor to heal this bizarre injury.
Even though it’s much better, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be achieving my chinup goal within this year.
